Spent the weekend on Hat Creek to cast the new Sage X Fly Rod… part of Sage’s On the Water Tour. Nice rod, casted effortlessly and really helped with my tracking issues (left/right movement as you face your casting target). Afterward, I picked up my Scott and it felt like a broom stick 🙂 The fact is both make great rods and both will fish! The X is more forgiving.
