Cro and his partners are so well-organized and efficient to maximize your time with your line on the water. Also, Cro... did a great job with my son who had never been on a float trip before. He’s patient and a great coach. Does a wonderful job finding a way to connect and provide the appropriate analogies, so you can get the picture of the technique. He also works very hard, passing good drift areas several times and consistently changing out flies as conditions change.read more

Recently took my first ‘float’ fly fishing trip down lower Sac river with Mojo Fly Fishing, along with three other... friends - and what a great experience it was. Steve Crosetti, owner/guide was phenomenal in both his experience on the river, as well as his incredible knowledge and skill in just about every aspect of fly fishing, including hookup and fly-tieing, navigating the lower than usual Sac river waters, finding the spots where the fish were and help with perfecting the proper techniques of casting. Had the pleasure of drifting down the Lower Sacramento River with Steve recently and had a fantastic time. Steve is one... of the best guides that I’ve ever fished with; he is a great teacher and his enthusiasm for fishing & being outdoors is infectious. There isn’t a bug, a bird or anything else on the river that Steve can’t identify and teach you about it’s life cycle or migration habits. He knows every seam, tail-out & riffle on the Lower Sac and he knows where the fish are. I really appreciated how he would slow our progress down the river to keep us separated from the other boats drifting down the river. If you’re looking for a great teacher and guide that will get you onto some fish - Steve is the best choice!read more

A friend and I fished the Upper Sac with Steve this fall--and what a day! Steve showed us spots and lines we would've... never thought to fish--and apparently no one else knew those spots, either, as we didn't see another angler all day. Steve got us into some quality fish, which is what we were looking for. He imparted so much knowledge in a friendly and patient way. My nephew and spent a full day fishing with Steve. I have a little experience fly fishing and Sean is a beginner. Steve... explained things very well, set realistic expectations for the day. Had great day with Steve of Mojobella on Friday, December 13th. It was a rainy day but that didn't stop the fish from... biting! My son Mitchell Giovaniello was fly-fishing for his very first time.
